SMS Auto Parts Co. was originally founded in 1946 by the Schafer family and is still owned and run by the same family. The Schafer's started with machining, refurbishing and repurposing well made German and Italian automotive parts. The family has moved along with the progression of vehicles to the complex machines and computers that they are today. We believe in the combination of both man and machine working together which is why, for example, we use precision machine welds to achieve a level of manufacturing that we would put our name to. The precious metals coatings, assembly, quality control and testing are all done by hand. The titanium and silicon coatings are done with a combination of man and machine.

A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply depending on the product and supplier, and return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived defective, damaged or incorrect.
