Wiring is UL1426 tinned copper, which resists corrosion better than standard automotive wire in an environment that's rarely fully dry, and every splice is sealed with heat-shrink tubing rather than left exposed to spray and splash. Connectors are corrosion-resistant and built to hold a solid connection through repeated wet-and-dry cycles instead of loosening up or oxidizing at the terminal over a season of use.
