- A DEDICATED POWER BACKBONE FOR YOUR ELECTRONICS: 16 feet of 8 gauge sheathed marine wire to the console and 13 feet to the bow, run from one fused connection at the battery. Your graphs stop sharing a circuit with bilge pumps and livewells.
- FUSED AT EVERY DEVICE DROP: A 30 amp fuse at the battery, and your choice of 3 or 5 amp fuses at each device connection. Match the fuse rating your unit's manual lists instead of guessing at it.
- BUILT FOR FORWARD-FACING SONAR: A sheathed, separately fused run gives each unit its own protected supply and keeps the power cable tidy enough to route away from transducer and data cables. Garmin recommends roughly six inches of separation and crossing wires at 90 degrees.
