Our 35mm independent and rebound compression valves result in ideally refined low and high-speed compression. The damper bodies are constructed of galvanized steel and zinc-plated, making them quite durable and rust-resistant. For increased strength, each piston rod is 20mm in diameter and is made of hardened chrome. To create height adjustability, Belltech uses a threaded damper body and spring perch. The perch is easily moved up or down the threads and set in place exactly where it is desired. Once the coilover height is customized, it is also important to set the adjustable bump stop engagement. Belltech uses a progressive rate polymer, open-cell, bump stop, and packers to coordinate the best possible bump stop engagement. Belltech coilovers also contain a main spring and helper spring. Both springs are made of cold-formed high tensile steel and powder coated, so they are protected from dirt and debris. The linear spring is made with the most desirable spring rate for the Ford Bronco and Belltech engineers are sure to test it on a vehicle as-is and fully loaded with customized gear. The helper spring keeps tension on the main spring when the suspension is at full droop, so it stays properly seated in place. To reduce noise and vibrations, each coilover is equipped with a double wall, high durometer vulcanized rubber bushing. To keep the piston rod pristine and protect it from debris, we apply a plastic dust boot, and for easy installation, the OE top mount is used.
